Steph is a registered psychologist and our health improvement practitioner (HIP) at our medical centres in Johnsonville and Thorndon. This is a new and free service to provide more overall wellbeing support for you at the same place that you see your doctor.

Steph provides face-to-face support as well as via phone or video if that works better for you. A typical consultation will take about 15-20 minutes and is usually focused on useful, practical steps you can start straight away.
If this sounds like something you could benefit from, don’t hesitate to book your free appointment by calling us on 04 473 5181 or ask your doctors or nurse to introduce you to Steph next time you’re in.
Steph is at Johnsonville Medical Centre on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and at Thorndon Medical Centre on Tuesdays.
To care for the health of our community, we offer a wide range of additional services. Our general practitioners are able to provide you with full medical and wellness checks, including blood tests and contraceptive advice.
